Formulate tourism plans and programs to promote, develop, and regulate the local tourism industry as a major socio-economic activity that generates investments and local employment, and to spread the benefits of tourism to a wider segment of the population with the support, assistance, and cooperation of both private and public sectors.
Gonzaga Tourism Mandate
Municipal tourism office is mandated to formulate tourism development plans and programs: Facilitate in the provision of tourism facilities and other tourist attractions including the acquisition of equipment, regulation and supervision of business concessions, and security services for such facilities: Assist the Local Chief Executive in the implementation of all programs and activities that the LGU-Gonzaga undertakes like the local festivals and other activities related to the promotion of local tourism, culture, and arts.
